My very first website, 2012

AlefYou.com

Responsive Hebrew Alphabet Flash Cards

This personal project is an old favorite of mine for two reasons: First, it’s the only website I have ever built with straight up code. And secondly, because I went to Hebrew day school for-like-forever. So, while I can’t say I’m fluent in Hebrew, I can say I made this little piece of web action.

Why did I call it this? A-Lef You is a play on words for “I love you”.

Also, you can still visit Alefyou.com

Fun fact: When little kids interact with this site on tablets they are 100x more intuitive than adults who see it and just scroll through without tapping any cards.
